Hello my fellow Hovel Homers! I’m sorry it’s been so long since my last post. I keep promising that I’ll update more regularly, but honestly I think this is a promise I won’t be able to keep. I’m a pretty disorganized and carefree person (which is what my blog is all about–living freely) but alas in order to document daily I’d have to go against the principles I “teach” so–there ya go, I suppose.

Anyways, it’s Thanksgiving weekend still (Cyber Monday, to be precise), I have a few shots of Fireball Whiskey in me and have decided it is “now or never” for this M-Turk post.

I’ve been using M-Turk for a good few months now. currently I’m up to $146.26 earned in total. I would consider this site to be my highest earner in the shortest amount of time yet. I should also disclaim that M-Turk is not for the beginning GPT site user. If this is the first post from adventuresofalice.com that you have ever read, I might suggest trying my post on InstaGC, or SlicethePieย first.

You can even make bonus money!

You can even make bonus money!

M-Turk is a website platform that is run through Amazon. Now, if that doesn’t scream “legitimacy” to you, I don’t know what does. The best part about M-Turk being connected to Amazon, is that when you transfer money out of your M-Turk account, you transfer it into Amazon Payments, which is similar to PayPal. The transfer is INSTANTANEOUS. As in, no sooner than you click the transfer “submit” button, will your newly earned finances be accessible. From this stand point you can either transfer that money into an amazon gift card IMMEDIATELY (which during this holiday season, is very nice.) or you can transfer the money straight into your bank account. (as I said, Amazon Payments is very similar to PayPal.) And while PayPal will take 3-5 days to transfer your money, Amazon Payments will only take about 2, maybe 3 days-maximum.

So some highlights from that last paragraph:

  • The site is run through Amazon.
  • Transfers are instantaneous.
  • From Amazon Payments to Bank Account only takes 2-3 days.
  • Can cash out into Amazon gift card immediately.

As I mentioned before though, M-Turk is not a website for the beginner GPT site user. There are a variety of reasons as to why I say this. For one, The layout is not simple nor user friendly. It’s very work like, and nothing is quite explained to you. This is definitely a site where you either read a lot of tutorials or your trial-and-error while on the job. To start with, this is what the home page of M-Turk looks like.

MTurk Dashboard

Click for larger image.

As you can see, M-Turk is somewhat similar to Crowd Flower, or any HIT (Human Intelligence Task) formatted site. You are judged on your approvals and rejections. Another to thing to know about M-Turk is that a task isn’t immediately approved. Many companies and individual people are using M-Turk to get responses to surveys or small tasks completed. An M-Turker has to wait until the person who posted the task either accepts or denies your response. This is important, just like when one uses Crowd Flower. The more acceptances you have, the higher your accuracy score is. The more rejections you have, the lower it is. Depending on your accuracy score, and the amount of tasks you’ve accurately completed, you’ll be allowed to sign up or not sign up for certain tasks.

For example, some tasks require that you have 100 accepted tasks and an accuracy rating of 97% in order to even attempt their listing. Others will want you to have 1000 accepted tasks and an accuracy rating of 99%. It’s a case by case scenario. Some tasks also want you to have earned certain “qualifications”.

click to make image larger.

click to make image larger.

Some qualifications are simply earned through consistently and accurately completing tasks. Most qualifications though, a user has to request themselves. Sometimes requesting a qualification is no harder than clicking a button saying you want that qualification. Other times, you will have a quiz or something similar e-mailed to you. Once you fill that quiz out, and send it back, the one in charge of that qualification will review your test answers, and if they are up to par will grant you a qualification rating. If they are not up to par, you will be denied.

When you see a task you're not qualified for, it will show up like so. You can click request qualification to attempt to access this sort of task in the near future.

When you see a task you’re not qualified for, it will show up like so. You can click request qualification to attempt to access this sort of task in the near future.

As you can see from this example listing, some tasks can offer a very pretty penny to complete them. I will say though, that unless you are an amazing transcriber(can add text to videos, or write out the text for subtitles in the professional transcribing manner) it is rare to complete a 60-100 dollar task. But I will also say, that there are a lot of high-paying tasks you will be qualified for: though their prices range closer to $1-$10/hit.

This above information is why another reason why I consider M-Turk to not be a beginner GPT site.

Since the site is similar to Crowd Flower, your accuracy is based on how many tasks you complete and your overall accuracy score due to those completions. You mess up your score even a little bit, and it will take you a good few days to get it back in order. The high-paying tasking can be tempting. But unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing and are EXTREMELY confident in your skill to complete the task successfully, I would advice much lower paying tasks. Such as the 0.01-0.10 cent tasks.

Why you ask? Simple.

Because these tasks are very very easy. And there is 100,000’s of them available. Successfully complete 100-500 of these and you will have nearly 100% accuracy, and 500 completed tasks. This will open up new tasks that are closer to $10-20 bucks a pop, and by the time they appear you’ll understand how M-Turk works on a much more personal level. Granted, that means you might not be earning a lot at the beginning, which is discouraging to newbies in the GPT world.

M-Turk is like a job with no training; you figure it out on your own, and fuck up a lot because of it, but once you get the hang of it all, much potential and opportunity is to be found.

Tasks on M-Turk can be very interesting as well. They aren’t always surveys or regular information sorting HITs. Sometimes you have to take a picture or a video. I once had a task where I had to speak the alphabet allowed while turning my head up down and sideways as my webcam recorded. Sometimes you’ll be asked to record the sound of your car horn. Or take a picture of a pharmacy in your area. Or speak words and sentences from a book aloud. The tasks can be very fun, and enjoyable, in comparison to some others available on different sites.

ALSO, another little thing, I forget to mention: YOU CAN CASH OUT BY THE 0.01ยข!

So no threshold has to be met-which is wonderful! Though I should add, you can only cash out once every 24 hours, so make sure that’s all you want to take out that day or you’ll have to wait till tomorrow.

From here you can either transfer to your bank account (which you’ll have to link to Amazon Payments in a similar way you link your account to PayPal) or you can immediately transfer into an Amazon gift card.

Then just wait 2-3 days and that money will be accessible!

Hopefully this mini-M-Turk tutorial helps you; there is A LOT of information to cover when dealing with this platform, so if you feel lost or as if I’ve missed anything you’d like better or more clarification on: do not hesitate to comment below and I shall get back your queries as soon as I see them! ๐Ÿ™‚

Good Luck using M-Turk,

Just a click away from cash!

Just a click away from cash!

This post probably containsย my quickest payment proof as of yet. While combing the interwebs for more amazing ways and sites to make easy/quick money, I cameย across this hidden gem. Qmee is so simple, it almost makes you question the authenticity behind the idea.ย

You simply download the extension to your web browser (Which is invisible outside of a small icon near your address bar)

See? Just a little Green "Q", indicating the app is running.

See? Just a little Green “Q”, indicating the app is running.

If you click the “Q” it will show you your current balance with the website.ย

Currently empty due to just cashing out, mind you! :P

Currently empty due to just cashing ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  out, mind you! ๐Ÿ˜›

So basically the gist is this: Bing. You’ve heard of Bing.com correct? A website mothered by Google, that is also a search engine, where you earn credits for searching things via their generator. Well this is very, very similar yet so much better. Instead of having to use a new search engine with limited results, you can use your regular search sites including: Yahoo, Google, Amazon, Bing, or Ebay.ย

You search for things as you normally would, and depending on what you’re looking for Qmee might offer a side bar of similar options you may click. It will also mention the price you will be payed for clicking on certain things. I’ve read that some of the offers go up to $1.00, but so far I’ve seen offers ranking from .06 cents-.15 cents.ย

Simply click these links when they appear and receive the incentive listed next to the link.

Simply click these links when they appear and receive the incentive listed next to the link.

I only found this site about an hour ago, and used it for all of 15 minutes, collecting .30 cents from clicking three ads that came up during some bullshit search queries. The best part about this site is how fast it pays out, and how much you need to make in order to cash out.ย

1) You can cash out by the penny; and even better you can do so via PayPal!ย

2) The transfer from the site to PayPal is near instantaneous!ย

All of this found out about, made, and cashed out within 20-25 minutes!

All of this found out about, made, and cashed out within 20-25 minutes!

Now, the site may end up not making too much over time, but some people have claimed to make a good chunk of money, near 6-10 dollars a week, just using their search engines as they usually would +clicking these links. I’m a supreme newbie to Qmee, but I’m looking forward to seeing what this baby can do. Try it out, see it works for you, let us know, and as always:ย

Happy Earnings!ย

free food sign

Money is nice, samples are great, but we all need food to survive! And while money can buy food, sometimes we don’t have money. So what do we do?

Well there are a variety of ways to get yourself a hot meal, but today we’re going to focus on the easiest (and most devious) way to get some grub! ๐Ÿ™‚

*Warning, this is an article not for the weak-willed or extremely truthful types. You must be a snake in the grass!

"Hissssss~"

“Hissssss~”

The trick is simple: you call a fast food location, ask for a manager, and claim you recently received a drive-thru order that was incorrect. You then ask if you may have the order replaced on your next visit to said establishment.

It sounds simple, perhaps too simple, but I assure you it works during those desperate days of starvation. So in this article, I will teach you the best way to use this method. The DO’s and DON’Ts of Free Fast-Food, if you will. ๐Ÿ˜›

1. First and foremost, you can’t get cocky. And you can’t take more than you need. Don’t try to order the whole menu. Just get what you’d normally get.

2. ย You have to be willing to lie. As I stated before, this is not for those who are very truthful all the time. I’m the type of person that believes sometimes you have to cut corners and bend the rules in order to survive. And honestly, what is more important? Surviving? Or obeying society decorum?

For the bad liar, or the virgin liar, here are some tips to keep in mind:

a.) Imagine the lie is real, like you’re writing a story. Imagine the story in vivid detail, with benign details such as where you were going before you “stopped for food”, what time it was at (this is a very important point I’ll get to later), what exactly you got, what exactly “ruined” this “previous order”, how much of a hassle it is to not have the food you want and have to get it replaced on a later day (another note I’ll get to later as well), etc. tl;dr: You have to believe the lie. Create a vividly false memory and implant it in your head.

b.) Don’t get angry. Remember the saying, “you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.” Compliment the establishment, and the services they provide, while punctuating with the possibility that maybe you simply got someone else’s order. The more accommodating you seem, considering the assumed circumstances, the more creditable you’ll seem especially since you won’t have a receipt.

3. Don’t mention the receipt. Despite visualizing a million different “facts” to this story, you don’t want to blurt that all out at once. Simply mention the bare bone fact of the problem: my order was wrong the other day, and I was hoping to fix it. If they ask you for a receipt, simply say the drive-thru employee never gave you one. DON’T say you lost it: it makes you seem less creditable considering the store is taking your complaint entirely on good faith and word of mouth.

4. Take into account the stores shifts. Now, I’m not saying you have to stake the place out or anything like that–simply that when you call the store, and spin your deceitful story, don’t call the store at 4pm, saying you were there yesterday at 4pm. Because when you role up for that free food, it just might be the same person on shift, which could puncture holes in your story. While this might not always be the case, to keep the chances low, if you call at 4pm, say you got the food yesterday at 4am. as the person working at 4am is most likely not working the 4pm shift.

5. Also, don’t say you got the food the same day that you’re attempting to get the replacement meal. It’s best to say you got the food a day earlier, and the reason it took you till now to call is because when you “tried to call last night” to fix the matter, no one would pick up the phone. Plus, this is a restaurant “far from your home” so it didn’t make sense at the time to drive all the way back there; you can even note the only reason you stopped at this particular location is because it was on the way back from a venue you visited prior to your food run. Also, to make things more natural, you can also slip in a line on how you happen to be in the area where the store is located, which is why you’re hoping you could swing by and get that replacement meal now. You know, the whole ‘kill two birds with one stone’ scenario; makes it seem more casual and like you won’t really care either way if it goes through or not–which in other word: lack of desperation=more credit-ability.

6. Don’t order more than you usually would. You have to make this seem as real as possible. Don’t attempt to order the whole menu when the manager asks you what the order was. Simply order what you usually would. I know I mentioned this already, but I really cannot stress it’s importance enough; do not be greedy.

7. And last, but not least, stay cool. When you believe the lie, so will others. If the employees ask you questions when you arrive, simply say you spoke with the manager and they said they’d replace your meal. I know you might be wondering if this might actually work, as it seems too simple to just lie and get free food like that: but it’s true. ย Fast food companies mess up orders, for real, so many times that they are use to these sort of calls. I wouldn’t suggest to hit the same location up more than once every 1-2 months, but outside of that so long as you stay calm, collected, and have a good story just in case you are asked some questions, then you’ll be good to go!

*Please realize this isn’t something you should do all the time, and we here at The Hovel Home, don’t want to see anyone get in trouble when trying this. ย It’s for desperate situations, like starving when you have no food or money on hand. Here are two pictures below of food we’ve gotten from using the described method above. We have had 100% success rate with it, but we also follow the rules to a ‘T’, and have only used the method a handful of times over a year or so. So, again–only for when you’re desperate, does the Hovel Home advise trying this method. ๐Ÿ˜›

The facts on InstaGC Gift Cards!

The facts on InstaGC Gift Cards!

Hey Hovel Homers!

Today I want to revisit InstaGC (original link here) and talk about some of the new things I’ve discovered while using more of the services this wonderful site offers. InstaGC is one of my favorite GPT websites (I’ve made nearly $700 since starting my membership in late January 2014) but recently I’ve discovered that using some of the in-store gift cards can be a bit of a hassle. In fact, it can be more than a hassle, it can be down-right horrible. The problem is that GPT websites, and the rewards they reap, aren’t well known to most people, or industries for that matter. Employees aren’t prepared to handle the trials and tribulations that apparently come along with entering such codes and validating such vouchers. (Note: All the sarcasm right here.) Nonetheless, InstaGC’s gift cards are as authentic and use-able as any other gift card, debit card, or cash is. The trick’s just getting the other party to understand that.

So, we here at Adventures of Alice have decided to make your life easier, hopefully, by preparing you beforehand for the, excuse my french, bullshit that you may deal with when using in-store InstaGC gift cards.

**I also want to add a small personal note, to apologize for my lack of updates as of late despite promising otherwise. Things have been very busy in the hovel home, as we prepare to embark on our newest adventure: HOW TO-Camping with Alice and Wyatt. This will be starting within the next week, so by then posts should become more regulated along with more interesting and original content on how to survive when you have nothing but a tent, some basic camp supplies, and a car. Should be a crazy trip, so we hope you’re looking forward to it as much as we are!**ย

So, without further ado, on with the list of what to expect!

Click to be re-directed to the site!

Click to be re-directed to the site!

1.ย Be prepared for employees to look at you as if you’ve grown another head when you present the gift card.ย

"What are you looking at?"

“What are you looking at?”

As I mentioned before, most people don’t know how a GPT website works(or even what it is, for that matter). That being said when using the vouchers,ย most employeesย won’t know how to key in the code. Do not let this deter you, and simply state that it is a gift card, and they should apply it to your check-out balance, as one normally would with a “regular” gift card.

2.ย The employee may still be unable to apply the code, in which case ask for a manager.ย

"Attitude adjustment needed in aisle 12!"

“Attitude adjustment needed in aisle 12!”

Most employees are use to just taking the form of payment, everything working smoothly, and moving on to the next customer. Be prepared to get a somewhat disgruntled employee, if they struggle with your gift card, but don’t let it dissuade you. You have to stand your ground. Your money, or credit in this matter, is as good as anyone’s! So, if it comes to that, ask for a manager who should be able to figure out the correct method in order to complete your transaction.

3.ย If aggravated enough with repeated failure, the employee may attempt to deny your gift card entirely. (Essentially, give up.)ย

"How dare you deny me service!"

“How dare you deny me service!”

When in doubt, make a scene. Making a scene, while possibly embarrassing, can achieve all sorts of things. (A whole separate article on that, coming soon!) This is money you earned, so don’t be afraid to act as if the employee is turning down cash! Granted, on an individual level, I have a bit of a temper so for my more timid readers this could be a challenge. But you must realize, when you’re swimming against the current, and doing things “out of the norm”, so to speak, you will face resistance. ย Steel yourself for the challenge as much as you can and fight! for your right! to use InstaGC gift cards! ๐Ÿ˜›

4. ย Last but not least, be prepared for a few annoyed customers.ย

Tick-Tock, Tick Tock!

Tick-Tock, Tick Tock!

Unfortunately, due to the possible complications involved when using the gift card, and depending on how many registers are open you may have a bit of line building up behind you. This could include angry toe-tappers, impatient watch-checkers, or even the gutsy guy who voices his ill of you aloud. Again, don’t be discouraged. It’s not your fault the employee working this shift doesn’t know how to properly use that cash register-it’s the training of the companies fault! Everyone is in a rush, all the time, always thinking their problems are more important: so don’t let any negative criticism effect you when using your hard-earned InstaGC gift card! Whether it be from the antsy people in line, or from the aggravated employees–keep your cool, you’re doing nothing wrong. ๐Ÿ™‚

-I decided to write this article after attempting to use many different gift cards (such as for Walmart, CVS, and Dunkin’ Donuts) and encountering the same problems no matter where I was or who I was dealing with. Perhaps not all the gift cards on InstaGC are as difficult to use as these three–I know that online codes such as Amazon’s gift cards work swimmingly, but the real difficulty seems to lie in vouchers one must present in store/face-to-face. But I haven’t used/tried them all, so maybe this is not always the case. Regardless, if you do come across any issues when attempting to redeem your credit-just remember the list, keep your cool (or lose it-if you have to), and make sure you leave that store with what you came for!-

Hopefully this information, if need be, helps you on your own hovel home adventure!

If you’ve had any experiences with these gift cards, or with InstaGC in general that you’d like to share, please don’t feel shy and leave us a comment down below! We love to hear how this is or isn’t working for you!

And, as always-Happy Earnings! ๐Ÿ™‚

This isn’t regular posting information, but as I’ve mentioned before Hovel Home is going to be expanding their posting base in the next coming weeks/months. This content isn’t our own, and I’m not entirely sure where the video or idea originated from, but this seems like a wicked awesome way to save time and energy when cooking a lot or for a large group of people. If anyone knows what exactly he’s using to peel the potatoes like that, we here at HHA would love if you could comment the item below! Thanks so much!

Stay tuned for more posts about living off the grid, making quick contract-free money, and ways to save! ๐Ÿ™‚

Help Yourself to a Piece of the Music Industry.

Help Yourself to a Piece of the Music Industry!

Now, as you might know from reading a few posts here at Adventures of Alice, there are tons of way to make money through I.C. jobs: tutoring, surveys, mock-juries, etc. So tonight I’m here to bring you a new method: reviewing music.

In this day and age music is more abundant than usual: what with modern technology actually becoming the instrument in some cases, creating new genres and millions of aspiring artists. Imagine that they need someone to give the public opinion on their sounds so that they could better themselves and strive for bigger dreams. Well step on in, SlicethePie!Slice the Pie is an innovative website that will pay you to review music. So! Let’s get down to business on the stuff you want to know.

How much does it pay?ย  Depending on the length and type of a review you submit as well as what bonuses are going around, you get about .02-.20 cents a review. On average, with my time on SlicethePie, I get about .6-.12 cents a review.

What’s the cash-out threshold?ย  The threshold is $10. You can cash-out via PayPal, and from what I hear they usually pay out on Tuesdays and Fridays (which, seeing as I got my payment proof on a Tuesday this seems to hold true!)

Ten whole smack-a-roos!

Ten whole smack-a-roos!

How do I Review?ย  Here is the golden question! Slice the Pie wants certain things to be mentioned in your review, otherwise you might run into a few error messages. The most common error messages are:

“Your review doesn’t match the rating.” -This is one where you simply press the submit button again, or take a second look at the review. A computer is scanning it to make sure certain words are being used and you’re talking about music, not horses and clowns or something irrelevant. Meaning sometimes it’s right, sometimes it’s wrong, but this is an easy review message to get around.

“The review is too similar to your other reviews.” If you’re just typing the same thing for every song, don’t think Slice the Pie won’t notice and shut the party down. Pay attention, keep the reviews personal, and remember it’s better to try here than at your local burger joint.

“The review doesn’t seem to be a review about music, please try again.”-This is the most tricky one, and requires you to re-word some of your sentences. It can be quite frustrating, as most of the time the review is detailed, but it’s also using too many ambiguous words. So perhaps throw in more musical terminology.

In order to write a good review, make sure you go over the following elements:

-Intro/Vocals/Melody/Harmony/Lyrics/Originality/Ability to become a Hit/Production Values/Instruments Used, Etc.

-Use a lot of musical lingo, and adjectives. Is it fun? dark? energetic? tempered? sexy? southern? crass? etc.etc. slicethepie2 This is what the SlicethePie work station page looks like. You have 90 seconds(or more if you’d like) to listen to the song and write what you think about it. After 90 seconds is up, you can slide the bar that appears on the 0-10 grid (beneath the area to write) to your ranking suggestion.

The energy bar is important to pay attention to. If you review too fast, you’ll run out of energy (sort of like a game). 1 iota(or whatever you’d like to call it) of energy is restored every 3 minutes. Now something VERY important to remember about the energy bar. If the countdown for an iota of energy is near the end and you refresh the page(or click next) before it’s finished, that energy iota will not be given to you. Instead, on the refreshed page, the countdown will begin again from the very beginning.

The ranking bar is a tricky to handle. Depending on how your reviews match up to other reviews submitted to the same song(that you can’t read yourself), as well as how long, how repetitive, etc.etc. will depend on your ranking. It goes up and down depending on how well the website dictates you’re doing. Now of course, with ranking, comes benefits. The better you rank, the better your pay CAN be. ‘CAN’ being the operative word.

This is the page to show up after you've submitted a review.

This is the page to show up after you’ve submitted a review.

Overall I’m very happy with SlicethePie. You can make anywhere from 2-10 dollars in a day of reviewing, and it’s one of the sites that pays the quickest. (Tuesdays and Fridays of every week at a minimum of 10 via PayPal; I mean that’s a great deal for a GPT website.) If you’re interested in joining, just click any picture in the post(except the PayPal picture), and you’ll be redirected to the sign-up page. There is no wait, simply confirm your email (MAKE SURE THE EMAIL YOU USE IS NOT A THROW AWAY. I REPEAT, DO NOT USE A THROW AWAY EMAIL! YOU MUST USE THE EMAIL THAT IS HOOKED UP TO YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT OTHER WISE YOU WON’T GET PAID!)

The page you're taken to when you click "withdraw" after you reach 10 dollars.

The page you’re taken to when you click “withdraw” after you reach 10 dollars.

And that about covers it! Everything you need to know to review and make money on Slice the Pie. Hope it works out for you, remember every picture is a link to the site(expect the PayPal picture), and as we say around these parts: get to work and Happy Earnings! ๐Ÿ™‚

Order in this Hovel Home!

Order in this Hovel Home!

If you’re over the age of 18 then you most likely know what jury duty is: long, boring and tedious hours in a meeting room with strangers to decide who is guilty and who is innocent. Most people dislike this task, as it’s not only mandatory but usually subtracts wages from those missing work, paying very little in compensation for their time.

But what if I told you about mock juries? Where research companies are hired by attorneys going to court, in orderย to practice their argument before going against a real jury in the actual court room. And what if I told you these mock juries aren’t days long, but only 4-6 hours long, and pay rather generously?

Unfortunately for this post, I don’t have any tried-and-true links to share, only the information on what and why this IC job is.

A few months back, I took a survey that asked for a phone number in order to possibly have a follow up survey for extra incentive (incentive being money of course!). Then about two weeks ago, I got a call back from a marketing agency (who’s name I’m legally unable to disclose), asking if I’d like to participate in a local mock jury that weekend. For 6 hours of my time, I would be given snacks, two breaks, a free lunch, and $125 check at the end of the day! Not bad at all, if I do say so myself.

Now, again, due to the legal sensitivity to this IC job, I can’t tell you what the case was about, or any details like that–but I can tell you it was a rather lovely experience. I met some very nice, and interesting people while there, was fed good food at a fancy hotel where the research group was taking place, and was promptly paid before stepping back out the door to my car!

I don’t have any links unfortunately (As Adventures of Alice will only post links for personally verified reward systems and IC jobs, and this offer was presented through a survey) but I figured at the very least I could post about the experience and allow others to know what a mock jury is and how it can be a minor financial blessing.

A quick google search will show you many sign-up opportunities exist for live groups, like the one I participated in, or for online groups. The online groups do appear to pay less, but it’s still anywhere from $20-80 bucks on average per mock jury. I have signed up for about 10 online platforms, but as it’s not research in need of an everyday experiment the jobs can be far and few in between. (Granted, I live in a VERY small town, so I’m assuming larger cities/states will have more opportunities possibly available.)

Either way, while the offer isn’t overflowing, it’s also rather unknown and thus easier to get when jobs in the area ARE available. Just give ‘google search’ a click above and you’ll be directed where you need to go. Good luck, and as always, Happy Earnings! ๐Ÿ™‚

“The best things in life are free!”

PINCH me is a cute little website with services that pretty much speak for themselves. Unlike most of the websites I’ve blogged about here thus far, PINCH me isn’t a platform for money-making, so much as sample-trying. It’s no way to earn a living, but if one hoards/uses samples like I do-they can save themselves a few hundred dollars a year on all sorts of random products: anything from coffee, to color repair shampoo, pet treats, protein shakes, and much much more.

The trick is you have to pay attention to this right here:

pinch me 1

While PINCH me isn’t an extraordinarily well know website, these samples do go VERY fast. Knowing when the platform restocks is key to “checking out” your chosen goodies! (Note in the picture above: shipping and handling is free as well! ๐Ÿ™‚ ) All they ask in return is that each user answers a very short questionnaire about the products being sampled.

The only down side I can say for PINCH me is that their sample delivery is pretty slow. I waited nearly 2 month before receiving my first box of a new K-CUP coffee flavor; I almost gave up hope, but patience is needed in the world of samples.(I’ve had perfume samples from other sites that had taken nearly HALF A YEAR before they reached my mailbox.) Since then, the box’s have been a bit quicker, in which I have also received a shine-enhancer mini shampoo bottle and sanitary pads(not the best picks of the litter, but as I said above: the products go fast, so if you’re even a few hours late the pickings will be slim-if available at all.)

PINCH me also has a reward system of sorts, mildly based off the sample questionnaires as well as the tried-and-true referral ‘game’. Get enough points from either of these tasks, along with sharing products on Facebook, etc.etc. and you can level up. Leveling up allows a user to check out more items at one time, along with a few other nifty site features that slip my mind currently. Personally, I’m not a fan of their reward system and keep my site usage strictly sample and mini-survey, but feel free to try this feature out and let us know how it goes! (We here at HHA/AoA love to hear about your experiences with these websites as well, simply leave a comment or send an e-mail! ๐Ÿ™‚ )

So, anyways, while this site won’t save you from poverty, or hide away your hovel-ness (if anything, this might only emphasis that little fact): but it will most definitely save you a few dollars here and there whilst enjoying the luxury of sampled variety. Simply click the logo picture above for a direct link there, and as always: HAPPY EARNINGS!

The New Age of Learning

Come tutor with us!

Hey everyone! So I just wanted to post and say that I received payment proof from Cambly on the 15th of this month, (very timely just like their website promotes)!

CAMBLY PAYMENT PROOF

Yay! (:

I’ve only used their site casually, but was still able to make almost $60! I’m very impressed with this company so far. Tonight, before writing my post, I actually had a shift on Cambly, and through tutoring was able to rack up 10 more dollars!

I’ll state again, that if you’re interested in this opportunity, the best way to guarantee you’ll be paid for the time is to sign up for shifts. Even if it’s a slow night and nobody calls, you’ll be able to bank $5 for the two hours you kept Cambly’s tutoring tab open. Easy as that! If you’re interested, simply click their company logo at the top of this post and you should be redirected to their application page. Good luck and happy earnings!
